Many healthcare facilities focus on machines. Some focus on buildings. Some focus on numbers.
My dream was different.
I wanted to create a healthcare environment where women could feel comfortable, respected and secure while receiving diagnostic and medical services.
Orbit Diagnostics & Healthcare was born from that vision.
Healthcare is deeply personal.
For many women, even routine medical investigations can feel uncomfortable when privacy is not adequately protected.
Coming from a medical and pharmaceutical background, I understood something that is often overlooked.
Patients do not only need accurate reports. Patients need comfort. Patients need trust. Patients need dignity.
Over the years, I observed that many women were hesitant about certain diagnostic procedures because they felt uncomfortable in environments where adequate female support staff were not available.
That observation stayed with me. Eventually it became a mission.
I wanted to create a centre where women could undergo investigations with greater confidence, comfort and peace of mind.
That mission became Orbit Diagnostics & Healthcare.
Comfort, dignity and privacy during ultrasound examinations.
Helping women feel comfortable during ECG procedures.
Professional monitoring support delivered respectfully.
Patient-focused care during blood pressure monitoring.
Additional comfort and reassurance for female patients.
Maintaining a female-friendly environment during sensitive procedures.
Every dream needs support.
While the vision behind Orbit Diagnostics & Healthcare began with me, turning that vision into reality required commitment, planning, perseverance and continuous effort.
I remain deeply grateful to my husband, Parvaiz Ahmad, whose support played a major role throughout this journey.
From planning and development to overcoming challenges and helping establish the centre, his contribution has been invaluable.
I genuinely believe that bringing this dream to life would have been extremely difficult without his encouragement, hard work and dedication.
Many diagnostic procedures require close physical interaction between healthcare staff and patients.
This is especially true during investigations such as:
For many women, these procedures can feel sensitive.
Even when medically necessary, patients naturally prefer an environment where their privacy is respected and protected.
I believed women deserved that option.
From the very beginning, I wanted Orbit Diagnostics & Healthcare to provide access to female radiology services.
That is why having a female radiologist was never an afterthought.
It was part of the original vision.
Today, many women specifically choose Orbit because they feel more comfortable discussing concerns and undergoing ultrasound examinations in the presence of a female radiologist.
For pregnancy scans, pelvic scans and other sensitive investigations, this comfort can make a meaningful difference to the patient experience.
Many people are unaware that certain investigations require temporary access to areas that patients naturally consider private.
During ECG procedures, electrodes are placed on the chest.
During Holter monitoring, multiple electrodes need to be attached and connected to a monitoring device.
During ABPM monitoring, equipment must be properly fitted and positioned.
For many women, having female healthcare professionals perform these procedures creates an additional sense of comfort and confidence.
That is why Orbit Diagnostics & Healthcare maintains female support staff for these services whenever possible.
One of the most rewarding moments is hearing women tell us:
These comments mean more to me than any business achievement.
Because they confirm that the vision behind Orbit is working.
Protecting patient dignity during every interaction.
Treating every patient with compassion and understanding.
Healthcare delivered responsibly and ethically.
Designed with the comfort of women patients in mind.
Reliable services supported by modern healthcare standards.
Building long-term relationships with patients and families.
